| Dr Andre Schmitz is a board-certified, licensed Chiropractor and is the founder of the Berkeley Integrative Healing Clinic. He completed his undergraduate degree in Community Health Education and Holistic Healing at San Francisco State University. Dr. Andre earned his Doctorate from Life Chiropractic College West and has extensive hands on training in the healing arts. Dr Schmitz has volunteered his services for the Dept of Public Health in Berkeley and San Francisco. He has also participated in numerous mission trips to Central America to help diagnose, treat, and educate families without access to healthcare. | Dr Davi Pakter MD is a licensed family physician who is board certified in both family medicine and holistic medicine. He is a Fellow at Dr Andrew Weil's program in Integrative Medicine. He completed his residency training in Family and Community Medicine at UC San Francisco, and has also studied Yoga, Botanical Medicine, Reiki, Homeopathy, Nutrition and Indigenous Shamanic Ritual Healing. Dr Davi integrates different healing traditions creating a dynamic synthesis, which facilitates unification of body, mind and spirit. He has helped many people reduce their use of harsh pharmaceutical drugs by working collaboratively to develop individualized wellness plans, which nurture the innate healing wisdom that exists within us. |

| Anahita is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of California. She graduated from the clinical doctorate program focused on Integrative Oncology and Pain Management at Bastyr University in Washington State in 2008 after she earned her Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA. Anahita completed clinical training in China at the Teaching Hospital of Sichuan Chinese Medicine Institute, in Chengdu, and Shu Guang Hospital, in Shanghai. Anahita treats many conditions such as musculo-skeletal pain, gynecological discomfort, anxiety, stress, headaches, migraines, insomnia, and other discomforts in addition to oncology support and pain management. She is a member of the Society of Integrative Oncology and is actively pursuing research in order to strengthen the evidence base for the integration of Chinese Medicine with Western Medicine. Anahita combines many modalities such as Tui-Na, Cupping, and Acupuncture in a single treatment in addition to creating individualized herbal formulas if needed. Her focus is to get patients involved in their own well being, and encourages them to take active steps to improve their quality of life every day by making lifestyle and nutritional changes. |
